Pete is able to provide quality, experienced, evidence-based assessment and interventions to support people of all ages, for a range of presenting difficulties. 

These difficulties might include:

Pete only offers evidence-based interventions rooted in the most up to date best practice guidance and legislation. With the ability to draw upon a range of therapeutic modalities and orientations, individuals may be offered flexibility in how they might like to be supported with their presenting difficulties.


Specialist Areas of Support & Training: 

  • Child& family mental health 

  • Attachment & neurodevelopmental trauma 

  • Cognitive and neuropsychological assessments 

  • Mentalisation-Based Therapy 

  • Level 2 Practitioner in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) for specialist interventions working with carers and parents of children with attachment difficulties and trauma. 

  • Clinical supervisor to fellow clinical psychologists and other multi-disciplinary colleagues including social workers, foster carers, teaching staff & managers, either individually or in groups. 

  • Consultation & training sessions for schools/nurseries/institutions in relation to mental health and attachment.


Referrals

Self-referrals or referrals from parents are accepted by telephone or email. You will be offered an initial 10-15 minute telephone consultation at no cost.

If you would like to proceed with an assessment session you will be provided further information regarding options for therapy, times, locations and rates.

Referrals may also be accepted by letter from:

  • GPs

  • other healthcare professionals

  • social care professionals

  • schools

  • Local Authorities
